Why create an Account from the BMProduction Customer Area?

Creating an account, absolutely free, allows you to manage licenses. Through its control panel it is possible to obtain new Licenses, view the information, know how many and which devices are associated with it, remove a License-device association in order to use the same License on a new device, transfer the License to a third party or delete it. You can deactivate or delete your Account at any time.

 

How much does it cost to create an Account?

Anything. It is completely free. Only the licenses you buy are paid.

 

What do I need to be able to create a BMProduction account?

Only a working e-mail account. After the first part of the registration you will be sent an email to the address you provided, for the sole purpose of verifirarne the property. By replying to the e-mail the registration will be completed.

 

Why do provide BMProduction with my e-mail address?

The e-mail address will serve to guarantee your identity, to make sure that the current registration is not fake but really corresponds to someone. The address will also be used to retrieve access data, if lost, or to use a more secure login procedure without needing a password. It can be used for technical support, to inform you about events that exclusively concern your Account or to give you a printable copy of a License obtained. You can change your e-mail address at any time.

 

Can I change the e-mail address provided?

Certainly. Like other data, except for the name and date of birth.

 

Is it safe type a password?

BMProduction uses the HTTPS protocol in communications between your device and its servers. However it is good to know that BMProduction, as an internal policy, never memorises the user's passwords. What is stored is a password hash, which is a non-invertible processing. In a nutshell: we do not know and will never know the passwords of our users. Upon registration or confirmation of password reset, our server processes a new secure random password, sends it by e-mail to the customer and stores only its hash on our database. This procedure ensures that the user has a place where his password is stored (his mailbox) and we have assigned a secure password different from any other password that the user uses for other services. For this reason, if the password is lost, we generate a new random password and send it to the customer's e-mail address: because the previous password cannot be sent back to us, we do not know it!

 

How long does it take to create an Account?

Very few seconds. Very little information is required and a working e-mail address. After this first collection of information you will be sent an email with a link to complete the registration. By clicking on the link the registration will be completed.

 

If I start, can I stop the procedure?

Certainly. If you do not confirm the e-mail address entered within a few days, the procedure started will be permanently deleted. However, even if you complete the registration and create an account, you can delete it at any time.

 

Can I use BMProduction Products without an Account?

Certainly. The Account is used to access more features, such as dedicated technical assistance. But there is no obligation to create an account. The Account will also be used if the user decides to purchase a different License for the Product.

 

Why can't I buy a License without creating an Account?

The Account allows you to manage and group Licenses. Thanks to the Account you will be able to see on which devices a License is associated and eventually revoke it to assign it to others, you can transfer it to third parties or obtain licenses from third parties and finally eliminate them. Managed by the Account Licenses are more protected because you do not need to remember serial numbers or codes. Furthermore, no one can illegally use your Licenses, having them protected in your Account, accessible via an email and a password that only you know. In any case, please note that you can close or delete your Account quickly and at any time.

 

Will I be able to change the information I enter now?

For security reasons, it is not possible to change some data entered during registration. The only data that cannot be modified are: the name and date of birth. All other data can be modified and / or removed.
